Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Maintain GL integrity, manage budgets, and collaborate with teams for compliance
• Oversee accounting for new initiatives and drive process improvements in accounting functions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, including public and corporate accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with financial statements and external auditors
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with ERP systems preferred
