Assistive Technology Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistive Technology Specialist to provide assistive technology services and support for customers in the Higher Education division.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customers pre- and post-adoption by demonstrating product use with assistive technologies and providing solutions for identified issues
• Test products for accessibility gaps and ensure compliance with accessibility standards
• Consult with sales and product teams to integrate accessibility considerations into content and technology plans

Required Qualifications

• Current assistive technology professional certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in assistive technology
• Extensive knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and assistive technologies
• Strong understanding of best practices for creating accessible documents
