Behavioral Health Paraprofessional Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional Subject Matter Expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop resources for behavioral health paraprofessional competencies to support registered apprenticeship programs
• Create and deliver technical assistance content for diverse audiences regarding behavioral health
• Provide expertise and support to award recipients in implementing Level II training programs and addressing related challenges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in social work or behavioral health, or a master's degree with 3-5+ years of experience
• Minimum of 3 years in behavioral health workforce development, focusing on paraprofessional training or apprenticeship education
• Expertise in evidence-based training models and knowledge of Level I and Level II training requirements
• In-depth understanding of peer support models and integrated behavioral health service delivery
• Experience with federal grant programs or technical assistance initiatives, preferably with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
