Billing Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Advocate (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on inpatient and outpatient claims to Government payers
• Verify eligibility, member benefits, and authorization requirements for claims
• Track claim statuses and coordinate with client hospitals regarding accounts

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma required
• 1+ years' experience in hospital or professional claim billing preferred
• 1+ years' experience with electronic medical records such as EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech preferred
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Exchange email required
• Ability to multi-task and possess excellent organizational and planning skills
