Key Responsibilities
- Collect, record, and manage payments for physical therapy services
- Research and resolve unpaid insurance claims and issues related to non-payment
- Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and patients to ensure smooth clinic operations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of patient account management experience in a hospital or physician practice setting is preferred
- Basic accounting skills are required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Adherence to laws and best practices regarding patient data management
