Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and record payments for physical therapy services
- Research and resolve unpaid insurance claims and discern issues related to non-payment
- Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and the clinic to ensure smooth operations
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of patient account management experience in a hospital or physician practice setting preferred
- Basic accounting skills are required
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
- Adherence to laws and best practices in dealing with patients and data
