Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist who is organized and has previous medical billing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and record payments for physical therapy services
• Research and resolve unpaid insurance claims and discern issues related to non-payment
• Act as a liaison between insurance carriers and the clinic to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of patient account management experience in a hospital or physician practice setting preferred
• Basic accounting skills are required
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Adherence to laws and best practices in dealing with patients and data
