Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior School Food Operations Specialist to support scratch cooking initiatives in school food programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Answers technical and operational questions regarding USDA regulations and school food operations
- Provides onsite and virtual operational expertise to partner districts for transitioning to scratch-cook operations
- Conducts facilities assessments and develops partnerships to enhance school food programs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Culinary, Nutrition, Food Service, or related field
- Minimum of four years of experience in School Food Service Management, preferably in cook-from-scratch programs
- Experience training school food professionals and using K-12 recipe/menu software
- Experience in developing annual fiscal budgets of at least $500,000 for school food programs
- Ability to work remotely and adapt to various school environments
