Job Summary
A company is looking for a Care Coordination Advocate to guide members through their healthcare experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Review new cases for eligibility and coordinate member care/appointments
- Communicate daily with members regarding their case status and update cases as needed
- Negotiate agreements and collaborate with Nurse Case Managers and providers on member cases
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration
- 1+ years of experience in Advocacy, Prior Authorization, or Case Management preferred
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
