Cloud FinOps Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Manager of Cloud FinOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Cloud Financial Management (CFM) strategy, including cost and forecasting models
• Collaborate with Finance to align financial plans with AWS cost reporting and manage cost optimization efforts
• Document standard operating procedures for reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis while recommending necessary tools for the FinOps function

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or finance preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of leadership/management experience required
• 6+ years of experience in cloud advisory and IT financial services or operational experience with cloud cost governance
• Strong financial background with experience in ROI, TCO, and cost optimization strategies
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS cloud technology and experience with cloud cost management tools
