A company is looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for general ledger activities and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules for assigned properties
- Manage month-end close processes, including account reconciliations
- Field inquiries from department heads and assist with variance analyses
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or related field
- 3 years of General Ledger and/or relevant business experience
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems (preferably JDEdwards and/or Oracle)
- Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas
- Proficient at 10-key
