Commercial Contracts Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Contracts Counsel to join their legal team on a contract basis, working fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply and vendor agreements
• Provide legal advice and risk mitigation related to contract law and corporate policies
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with corporate objectives

Qualifications

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years managing commercial contracts in a corporate or law firm environment
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Familiarity with compliance concepts and corporate governance
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred
