Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a US Contract Specialist to join their Legal, Risk, and Compliance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and analyze various contract types, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company policies
• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and lead contracting negotiations
• Maintain and optimize contract management processes, conducting research on legal trends and risks

Required Qualifications

• Master in Law or Bachelor's Degree with extensive experience in contract negotiations
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Contract Specialist role or equivalent in a corporate environment
• Prior experience in the commodities and/or maritime industry is a strong plus
• Proficiency with software applications, such as Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Google Docs
• Experience in a legal and/or technology-related field (SaaS/DaaS) and/or US federal procurement processes is preferred
