CPA Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join the Corporate Accounting Team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the global financial closing process and manage the Corporate accounting team
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports and serve as the internal lead for annual audits
• Identify and implement improvements in business processes and financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive responsibilities applying US GAAP standards
• Public company reporting experience and knowledge of internal controls and procedures
• Strong working knowledge of financial systems and experience with M&A integrations
• Experience in a leadership role within a dynamic accounting department
