CPA Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to oversee accounting operations and ensure financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead the month-end closing process and ensure timely financial reporting
• Prepare for audits and manage tax compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior financial management role
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
• Experience managing inventory and COGS, with a background in CPG and omni-channel businesses preferred
• Strong command of GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software, preferably NetSuite
