Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting and compliance efforts in a shared services team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the accuracy of the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Perform key activities in the month-end and year-end close processes for timely financial reporting
• Prepare, review, and resolve discrepancies for balance sheet account reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional accounting experience in a shared services environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience creating and developing KPI metrics for transactional accounting functions is a plus
