CPA Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Director to lead a team of tax professionals and provide tax advisory and preparation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead team management, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and development plans
• Provide tax advisory, planning, and preparation services for various tax returns and strategies
• Ensure compliance with operational processes and collaborate with other teams for effective service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business; BS in Accounting preferred
• CPA or EA certification required
• 8 years of tax accounting experience and 12 years of overall accounting experience
• 4 years of people leadership experience managing 2 or more direct reports preferred
• Experience with high-net-worth tax returns and various tax return types including Trust, Estate, and Corporations
