Credentialing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing processes in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Process initial and reappointment credentialing applications and conduct follow-up as needed
• Prepare monthly reports for peer review/credentialing committee meetings
• Maintain provider state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice insurance, and other required credentialing documents

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree
• CPCS or CPMSM certification
• 2-3 years of credentialing experience within managed care, hospital, or CVO credentialing
