A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist who will manage patient interactions and ensure accurate service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and outbound calls while documenting information per standard procedures
- Process orders, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- Educate patients on their financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services
- For senior level, two years of experience and one year in a similar role are required
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan methodologies preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
