Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist responsible for providing support to patients regarding home medical equipment services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound and outbound calls, process orders, and document call information
  • Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
  • Educate patients on financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative or customer service roles
  • Two years of work-related experience required for senior level positions
  • Experience with Medicare certified tasks is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
