Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist responsible for providing support to patients regarding home medical equipment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and outbound calls, process orders, and document call information
- Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
- Educate patients on financial responsibilities and facilitate resolution of customer complaints
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative or customer service roles
- Two years of work-related experience required for senior level positions
- Experience with Medicare certified tasks is preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
