Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee global database administration ensuring uptime, performance, and data security
• Lead the execution of a global database transformation roadmap, including cloud-native modernization and data governance
• Manage and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed database team

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in database engineering and administration
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with large-scale database environments, performance tuning, and disaster recovery
• Passion for modernizing database operations using agile, lean, and AI/ML practices
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate effectively at all levels
