Job Summary

A company is looking for a Designer for the Young Adult Covers Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Art Director, Publishers, and Editors to develop book covers
• Design and prepare print-ready PDFs for assigned titles, ensuring high-quality execution
• Research and present suitable illustrators and designers, and art direct projects from concept to final art

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in a publishing or editorial design role
• Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop; basic understanding of Illustrator and Acrobat
• Portfolio showcasing inventive book cover design and typography
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Deep interest in Young Adult literature
