Director of Business Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Business Development, focused on identifying and developing new growth opportunities in battery storage and electric vehicle sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the battery storage and EV markets
• Develop financial, market, and energy models to assess new business opportunities and structure partnerships
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and represent the company at industry events

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy
• Fluency in Virtual Power Plants, Demand Response, and Distributed Energy Resources
• Experience in developing financial, market, or energy models for business strategy
• Demonstrable experience in the renewables, battery storage, and EV ecosystems
• Experience working within North America; international experience is a plus
