Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Disaster Management Programs, fully remote anywhere in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and assessment of global preparedness and readiness programs in collaboration with IFRC and National Societies
• Lead design and implementation of integrated disaster risk management and climate programs, ensuring operational quality and effectiveness
• Manage a technical advisory team and oversee financial planning, budget tracking, and resource allocation for disaster management programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of management experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and field experience in international disaster response operations
• Experience in writing and evaluating proposals and managing grants
