Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze claim information to determine eligibility for disability benefits and issue payments
- Develop and execute claim management strategies to ensure timely and accurate claim resolutions
- Communicate with claimants and stakeholders to resolve inquiries and represent the company professionally
Required Qualifications
- Minimum eighteen months of experience in disability claims administration
- Degree in arts & sciences, business, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting disability claims
- Advanced knowledge of group disability claims and their administration
- Ability to analyze medical, technical, and legal information related to disability claims
