Executive Director of Hedge Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Executive Director, Qualified Derivative Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage derivative accounting for qualified derivatives and ensure compliance with hedge accounting standards
• Analyze hedge effectiveness testing and document new qualified hedging strategies
• Develop accounting infrastructure and provide training on new tools and methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of accounting or auditing experience with a focus on derivative accounting
• 5+ years of management experience
• Master's Degree and CPA certification preferred
• Experience in insurance/reinsurance or financial services accounting is a plus
