A company is looking for a Federal Policy Senior Manager, Workforce Policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive policy advocacy and thought-leadership campaigns focused on workforce development
- Lead strategies for direct engagement with U.S. policymakers and build coalitions
- Identify and analyze legislative and regulatory proposals impacting workforce development
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a congressional office, executive branch, or policy function
- 5+ years of experience in policy development and engaging with legislators
- Experience with the House Education and Workforce Committee and Senate HELP Committee
- Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory policy issues related to workforce development
- Familiarity with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and labor market data processes
