Job Summary
A company is looking for a Financial Analyst in the insurance industry, primarily remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts with business unit leaders
- Own and maintain P&L statements for designated business lines, ensuring accurate reporting
- Conduct variance analysis to explain financial performance against budgets and forecasts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MBA is a plus
- 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis roles, with at least 2 years in the insurance industry
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, bridging accounting and FP&A
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools; advanced Excel required
- Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan) preferred
