Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to provide financial counseling to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling to insured and uninsured patients
• Assist patients in completing requirements to meet financial obligations and identify potential reimbursement sources
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and complete applications for financial coverage

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
• 3 years' experience in hospital registration, authorizations, or related fields required
• Experience in customer service required
• CRCS certification preferred
• Familiarity with federal, state, and county program regulations
