General Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FP&A to record accruals and reclasses for accurate financial reporting
• Process payroll-related journal entries and maintain auto-reversing entries to streamline month-end close
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in corporate accounting or finance, preferably with month-end close support
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP) and experience with accrual accounting
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Oracle)
• Detail-oriented team player with good organizational skills
