GIS Applications Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Applications Developer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced geospatial systems for topographic product delivery
• Utilize Python libraries like ArcPy and GDAL in a modern DevOps environment
• Build intuitive front-end experiences and robust backend systems for high-performance applications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro for spatial analysis and geospatial data processing
• Strong understanding of spatial databases for storing and querying geospatial information
• Proficiency in Python geospatial libraries, such as ArcPy and GDAL
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of geospatial applications
