Job Summary
A company is looking for a Government Affairs Associate to join their Government Affairs team.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyze proposed laws and regulations in assigned jurisdictions
- Prepare summaries and analyses of legislative and regulatory developments for internal communication
- Support the Government Affairs Counsel and collaborate with internal teams on public policy matters
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies, political science, public policy, or a related field
- 3+ years of legal or regulatory experience, preferably in health plan or managed care
- 2+ years of experience with state political and legislative processes
- 2+ years of experience using Westlaw, legislative tracking software, and Google Workspace
