Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment Counselor.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient involvement in treatment and education through individual, group, and family counseling
• Conducts mental health assessments and provides therapeutic interventions for discharge planning
• Acts as a liaison for child and adult protective services and addresses issues of abuse and neglect

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Experience in behavioral health counseling and crisis intervention
• Knowledge of psychosocial risk factors and community resources
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
• Relevant mental health certifications or licensure
• Experience with discharge planning and utilization review processes
