Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify insurance eligibility and document information in the system
- Perform prior authorizations and collect necessary clinical information
- Handle inbound calls and resolve claim rejections related to eligibility and coverage
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with 1+ years of medical billing or insurance verification experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field can substitute for experience
- Preferred experience with payors and prior authorization
- Highly preferred experience with Medicare Part D
