A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and documentation in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter referrals accurately and timely while meeting productivity and quality standards
- Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
- Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to ensure compliance and facilitate the referral process
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- One (1) year of relevant experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or insurance customer service
- Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
- Proficient in navigating multiple online EMR systems
- Knowledge of payer guidelines and clinical documentation compliance
