A company is looking for an Internal Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform internal reviews daily, recognizing and reporting billing errors
- Fulfill external medical record requests and assist clients with compliance needs
- Initiate third-party audits and documentation reviews as required
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum of two years' EMS billing experience
- Knowledge of ambulance coding and ability to define service levels
- Understanding of CMS Ambulance regulations (Chapter 10)
- Familiarity with EMS run records and terminology
- Ability to identify missing or lacking information in documentation
