Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Financial Compliance).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform account management duties for the Department of Housing and Urban Development
- Prepare financial reports for federal and state authorities, including Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
- Assist with financial statement audits and treasury duties, including weekly cash uploads to the GL
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required
- Previous experience in an Accounting department required
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required; high proficiency in Excel is a must
- A minimum of five years of general ledger accounting experience preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
