Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Special Education Teacher in Iowa.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging virtual instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators, service providers, and families
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of student progress, attendance, and communication

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa Special Education teaching license (K-12 or relevant grade bands)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with IEPs, behavioral strategies, and diverse student populations
• Prior experience in virtual instruction or strong willingness to learn teletherapy platforms
• Comfortable using technology and online tools for teaching, tracking progress, and collaboration
