Job Summary

A company is looking for a Curriculum Writer for the Global History NYS Regents Exam.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and write a complete tutoring curriculum covering all topics tested on the Global History NYS Regents exam
• Create lesson plans, study guides, practice exercises, and assessment materials aligned with NYS Social Studies Learning Standards
• Develop multiple question formats including multiple choice, constructed response, and document-based questions (DBQs) that mirror actual exam structure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History, Social Studies Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• New York State teaching certification in Social Studies (grades 7-12)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience teaching Global History or preparing students for NYS Regents exams
• Demonstrated knowledge of NYS Social Studies Learning Standards and Regents examination format
• Experience developing educational curricula or instructional materials is preferred
