Job Summary
A company is looking for an IT Operations Technician to provide Tier 1 support in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor IBM I-Series and Z-Series production environments and respond to system messages
- Process batch cycles and execute batch restarts according to established procedures
- Create tickets from alert messages and collaborate with clients and business units to meet established SLAs
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with JCL and IBM Mainframe consoles
- Experience with ITIL ticket systems, BMC Remedy, and/or ServiceNow
- Experience in IT support-oriented environments with established SLAs
- Associate's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
