Key Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by scheduling and registering patient appointments, handling communications through various channels, and updating patient information
- Assist with first contact resolution by addressing patient inquiries and directing them to appropriate resources
- Maintain professionalism and efficiency in managing a high volume of calls while adhering to departmental guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
- Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA, CMA, or equivalent certification)
- Basic Life Support certification
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications
