Kentucky Licensed Outpatient Dietitian

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for weight management and healthy lifestyle habits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial nutrition assessments and provide preoperative nutrition guidance and education
• Counsel post-operative patients to ensure dietary compliance and formulate weight management goals
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and monitor nutrition interventions

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Registered Dietitian credentials and licensed in Kentucky
• Previous experience with bariatric surgery
• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND standards
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
