Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer responsible for infrastructure and software deployment automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
• Create and implement scripts to automate everyday operations and establish deployment pipelines
• Provide strategic analysis of technology needs and facilitate discussions to define business requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of software development and IT operations experience
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery automation tools and infrastructure automation
• Experience writing automation for at least one cloud platform (AWS preferred)
• Strong programming skills in at least one dynamically typed language such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
• Knowledge of Linux administration and understanding of Agile development methodology
