Lead Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Network Security Engineer to manage global security services for their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational activities across global firewall infrastructure and advocate for enhanced security services
• Act as a Domain Expert, mentoring lower-level engineers and overseeing information security projects
• Respond to service and critical issue tickets, develop security test plans, and drive security efficiencies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Seven (7+) years of relevant experience in network security
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field is desired
• Palo Alto Networks certifications are required; other security certifications are desired
• Deep understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and experience with enterprise security policies
• Knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and experience in cybersecurity compliance and risk management
