Licensed Privacy and AI Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy & AI Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on healthcare privacy, cybersecurity, and AI regulation to product, data, and security teams
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA/HITECH, state consumer-privacy statutes, and emerging AI frameworks
• Draft legal documents such as BAAs, DPAs, playbooks, and incident-response plans

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 5+ years of experience in privacy, data security, and/or healthcare technology
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and state privacy statutes
• Familiarity with AI risk-management frameworks
• Preferred certifications include CIPP/US, CIPM, HCISPP, or CISSP
