Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate and Compliance Counsel for a remote position in Guatemala.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on U.S. regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters
• Coordinate and oversee compliance protocols in line with industry standards
• Prepare and manage agreements and corporate governance documents

Required Qualifications

• Law degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school preferred
• 5-10 years of regulatory, compliance, and corporate legal experience in financial services
• Strong knowledge of U.S. laws and regulations related to mortgage lending
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
