A company is looking for a Telephonic Counselor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts telephonic triage and assessment, providing immediate support on various issues and coordinating resources
- Completes case management of intakes and makes clinical determinations in accordance with company policies
- Consults with service providers and human resources regarding employee issues and maintains professional documentation
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)
- 5 years of experience as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience
- Preferred professional certifications include Licensed Mental Health Clinician or Certified EAP Counselor
- Active, current, and unrestricted license in the state employed may be required for face-to-face counseling
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows-based programs and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
