Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telephonic Counselor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts telephonic triage and assessment, providing immediate support on various issues and coordinating resources
  • Completes case management of intakes and makes clinical determinations in accordance with company policies
  • Consults with service providers and human resources regarding employee issues and maintains professional documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a behavioral health field (social work, psychology, counseling, or related field)
  • 5 years of experience as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor or equivalent behavioral health clinical experience
  • Preferred professional certifications include Licensed Mental Health Clinician or Certified EAP Counselor
  • Active, current, and unrestricted license in the state employed may be required for face-to-face counseling
  • Intermediate proficiency in Windows-based programs and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
