Job Summary

A company is looking for a Life Underwriting Consultant to assess medical and financial risks in life underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess medical and financial risks for complex underwriting cases and assign appropriate risk classes
• Document risk assessments and communicate decisions to field distribution and internal partners
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior underwriters and recommend improvements to underwriting guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in life or long-term care underwriting
• Four-year degree in business, communications, medical fields, or equivalent work experience
• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools and resources
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring future immigration sponsorship
