Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan origination staff and manage customer interactions during the loan process.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of the transaction
- Collects necessary customer documentation to complete loan transactions
- Assists loan originators with preapprovals, loan structuring, and updates on loan status
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Two or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, or processing experience
- Current hands-on experience as a loan officer assistant, processor, or underwriter
- Proficient knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional loan programs, and mortgage insurance guidelines
- Understanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines
- Proficient with Encompass software
