Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Coordinating outsourced international logistics and sustainment support to military operations and exercises utilizing expert skill in applying the concepts and theories of logistics management; 2) Acquiring logistic support, supplies, and services directly from eligible countries and international organizations utilizing formal mechanisms; 3) Evaluating problems and recommending or initiating corrective actions to include, including assigning and evaluating support across various functional areas such as procurement, product assurance, supply, and maintenance; 4) Performing comprehensive end-to-end cost analyses of international outsourced logistics options in comparison to contracting and other traditional sourcing methods; 5) Negotiating with key individuals to accept and implement recommendations for change in established process, procedures, and directives; and 6) Conducting training for selected personnel on the effective use of Mutual Logistics Support mechanisms while simultaneously developing and sustaining cohesive distance learning resources, such as electronic media, handbooks, briefs, papers, reports, and related documentation.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:EducationThis job does not have an education qualification requirement.Additional informationThis position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.Federal annuitant information: The selection of an annuitant is subject to the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policy on the employment of annuitants.
