Key Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize a work queue while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
- Make complex claim-payment decisions and interact with various stakeholders involved in the claims process
- Collaborate with teams to provide training and share best practices within Payment Servicing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma; college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in professional customer service, preferably in a corporate or Long Term Care setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret contract language
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
